The purpose of this tournament is of course to gather all of Tim's and Busher's friends and family to have a great day playing golf and also remember our friends who dedicated most of their lives to the RCAC and the RCD. The idea for this event came up when Dean Jones and I both said we should do something that could bring all of us together in a place where they served and truly called home. I think we have plenty of interest and I look forward to this inaugural event and making this an annual event for RCAC members.

0700- 0800 - Registration/Check in/ Opening ceremony.
0800- Shotgun Start.
1300-1500- Meal and awards (Club house).
Gage Golf Club, Oromocto NB.
Proper Golf attire as per Gage Golf Club dress code.
Green Fees: 18 holes - $ 35.00
Carts: First come first serve during online registration - 36 carts are available for the first 72 golfers - Cost is $ 20.00 plus tax - payable to the club upon registration game day.
Meal: Meal tickets will be sold separately in club house during Registration : Meal Choices - Hamburger platter/ Chicken Finger Platter - $10.00 each. Check of preference on Registration page.
Mulligans: $ 5.00 per mulligan ( optional and sold day off in Club house )
4 person best ball, shotgun start.
A Shotgun start is a golf tournament format in which all groups of players tee off simultaneously from different holes. Each hole on a course will be the tee off hole for each foursome. Group 1 would start from hole 1, Group 2 from hole 2, etc. Each group starts play at the same time.
Carts/ Club rentals:
We have reserved the carts at the course for this day so it our intent to have the carts marshalled and numbered with team numbers and names of players on each cart. Your team number will coincide with which hole your team will start from. There are only 36 carts are available for the first 72 golfers so please remember that those who register first will be allocated a cart.

Here you will fill out the names for your foursome/ or submit your name to be part of a foursome (We ask that one person register as the team captain as this will make organization the day of the tournament a little easier for us). Please complete all info asked on the registration form. Name/ Cart ( Yes/No) / Meal preference.

NOTE: We are capped at 144 participants.
No funds will be exchanged on the registration so we ask if you are on the list please make best efforts to attend. All money will be paid Friday 11 August at the tournament Meet & Greet .
Meet & Greet /Awards and Meal:
Meet & Greet - 1830 -2100 Friday 11 August . WO’s & Sgt’s Mess Gagetown. Dress Casual
We will be having a meal for all participants during the awards and presentations following the event. ( at the club house ). Meal will be from the bar and grill at the course and paid for separately at a cost of $10.00. Dress Golf Attire
RCD Association (Atlantic Chapter) Yearly BBQ will be at the WO’s & Sgt’s Mess that evening 1800 for 1830. Dress Casual ( POC John Bouwmeister . RCD Association Atlantic Chapter)
Gagetown Base Accommodations is assisting and supporting us with rooms on base. We have block booked under ( the Bennett Memorial Golf Tournament ) rooms 30 Standard rooms ( they would have to bring their own towels and personal toiletries) and 30 enhanced rooms ( which has the amenities provided). on base and please indicate on the registration form if you intend on staying on base. These will be booked on an individual basis.
