The Guild’s WALL OF RECOGNITION

Wall of Recognition plaque form

The Guild’s Wall of Recognition has been created to permanently recognize supporters who further the work of the Guild. To be eligible for the Wall of Recognition, make a one-time donation of $300.00 or more to Guild after 1 April 2022.

This form is where you can personalize your plaque for processing and posting. First we need some information to identify the requestor:

Each Plaque can have up to two lines of text below the header. To maintain a consistent font and size, you are allowed up to 40 characters including letters, numbers, symbols and spaces per line; All entered text is subject to verification; Saving spaces is critical, we ask that you: - use the accepted rank abbreviation as applicable (Cpl, Sgt, MWO, Lt, Maj, Col, MGen, Gen); - list only accepted Canadian post-nominals per CAF regulations; - Only use commas after your name and between post-nominals; - Only use ALL CAPS for post-nominals.

In the FIRST LINE, you can either: write out your rank, first and last name, any nickname, and awards; or identify the donor or donating family. For Donors who were not in the military, feel free to list your full name and any civilian professional post-nominals. Examples of the first line are: Sgt John (Happy) Springbok, MMM, CD (35 Spaces) The Capt Randy Dragoon family (29 Spaces) Davey C. Batter Jr., PEng (25 Spaces)

Processing can take between 3-5 weeks depending on volume and verification checks. Note that donating by cheque will also cause delays. When mounted, you will receive a picture of your plaque.

Additionally, you can personalize one more line of text on a SECOND LINE to write a statement of your career, a saying or quote, the name of your company, or name a person that you wish to honour. There is no obligation to do this but if you do, the limitation of 40 spaces still applies. All entered text must reflect a positive light on The Regiment and Regimental Family to be accepted. Examples are: 1984 – 2021 (11 Spaces) In loving memory of WO Ben Tanker, CD (37 spaces); A veteran of World War 2 and Korea (34 spaces); Once a Dragoon, always a Dragoon (32 spaces); The Digital Museum Company (26 Spaces).
