A gentle reminder that we will hold our annual corps bbq on Saturday 27 July at the Perth Legion from 11 am – 4 pm. Our organizing team (Denis Levesque, Laina Trevana and myself), with the members of the Perth Legion under Stacey Niceliu, are very much looking forward to seeing you all there. We currently have 86 RSVPs, and are hoping for our traditional crowd of about 100 or so close friends. Email lists are always a challenge to maintain, and a number of people have told me that they did not receive emails about this event, so feel free to pass along the information to your friends.
Laina has also spent a great deal of time making a beautiful Corps – themed charcuterie board, which she has generously donated to our raffle. She has clearly set a high standard of raffle gifts, please be creative with whatever you choose to donate so that we have another successful raffle event. Last year we were able to donate $500 to the Kingston Home for Heroes foundation, so we will ensure that our enjoyable afternoon benefits others in the veteran community.
