A sad week continues in the regimental family, having to announce the passing on 16 Jan 2025 of MWO (retd) Frank Austin
Frank served the in the RCD & 8CH from 1974-2003, with postings in Canada and Lahr, Germany. Frank was crossed trained in tank and ‘old school’ mud recce skills.
During the curling season, if you wanted to find Frank, you’d find him at the rink. He enjoyed competing in the Ironside’s Bonspiel and probably left with an award of some sort.
