Terry was commissioned in 1960. He spent periods of time at Camp Borden at the Armoured Corps School from 1962 to 1963 and was trained as an advanced tank gunnery instructor. From 1967 to 1969 he went back to the regiment and was the Battle Captain of C Squadron and the adjutant. He was posted to Germany from 1972 to 1974 where he commanded A Squadron for two years. Then, in 1977, he returned to Germany as Regimental 2IC. Terry retired in 1991.

Unfortunatley, we havent located his obiturary or celebration of life details yet. The funeral service / celebration of life will be held this Spring at Beechwood Cemetery in Ottawa. In memoriam, if desired, donations can be made to the Diabetes Foundation.
