Tpr Jankowski passed away 10 Jul 2011. He was in B Sqn TF 3/09 Sept 2009-May 2010. Mark Popov was the OC, Kevin Mathers the SSM. His Afghanistan medal was ‘lost’ and ended up in Alberta with Kyle Scott (Canadian Veterans: Owed and Missing Medals). Apparently the family didn’t know he was awarded a medal but this is now being fixed. A presentation to the family event is being organized by a few Dragoons in the Windsor area who served with Jankowski. May he rest in peace.
