Celebrating the 79th Anniversay of the Liberation of Leeuwarden
Every 15 April, The Regimental Family and the city of Leeuwarden, The Netherlands celebrate the liberation of the city by the Dragoons in 1945. We encourage everyone to click on the link below for the full story.
Each year, the Regiment and its elements wherever they are, celebrate this date with a parade and flying the Leeuwarden City Flag at our HQ. Concurrently, the City of Leeuwarden honours all Dragoons by flying the RCD Camp Flag at city hall and marking the occassion with their citizens.
