Families and Friends of the Royal Canadian Armoured Corps

It is with great pleasure that I can confirm that the annual Corps BBQ in Perth, ON, will be held on Saturday 29 July, 2023, from 11 am – 4 pm. We will once again gather at the Perth Legion, Branch 244, 26 Beckwith St East, Perth, ON, K7H 1B5

This has been a tumultuous year for the Regiments in our Corps, and we find that tanks are once again being employed on a large scale in modern combat. There is certainly a lot to discuss about the profession of arms in 2023

More importantly, as the memories of Covid lockdowns recede, the imperative to meet with good friends and colleagues remains strong. The BBQ remains an excellent opportunity to stay in touch with the Corps family.

This event is intended to be fun and stress free. We ask those planning on joining us to RSVP to corpsbbqperth@gmail.com by 15 July 2023. This will allow us to anticipate attendance, and have food and seating prepared accordingly. There is no obligation to attend if you have RSVPed, and those who have not responded are more than welcome to attend, we just find it helpful to anticipate numbers. As always, please bring an item or memento for our raffle. Any money raised will be used to cover BBQ costs, with remaining funds being donated to an appropriate charity.

A sitrep will be sent out in early July to confirm BBQ details. For now, please add us to your calendar, and RSVP if you intend to attend.
